What do you want to do when you finish your course?
A lot of people don’t know the answer to this question when applying for a Higher Education course – and that’s okay!
Higher Education courses can teach you valuable skills such as organisation, leadership, teamwork, communication and analytical thinking. These skills are transferrable to a number of careers, so you don’t have to decide what job you’ll have from day one.
There are hundreds of pathways you can take once you’ve completed your course. For example, a degree in engineering doesn’t necessarily mean you have to work in the engineering industry. You could find yourself working in television or education.
Speak to your school/college’s careers advisor for extra guidance on what career pathways are right for you.
