Go Higher West Yorkshire: reducing inequalities in access to, success in and progression from Higher Education.
Go Higher West Yorkshire (GHWY) is pleased to welcome Dominic House as its new Care to Go Higher Delivery Officer.
He has previously worked as a Finance Assistant and Admissions Enquiries Assistant at the University of Leeds.
Handling a large variety of queries and helping people with many topics – such as applications, financial support, and routes to entry – made it clear he enjoyed helping potential applicants.Â
Having known people who worked for charities, including one who helped disadvantaged applicants apply to university, he gradually learned more about the impact it can have and grew interested in the area of work.Â
He said: “I am looking forward to turning my hand to a new role and am keen to help GHWY make a difference to disadvantaged applicants.”
