You can choose up to five courses (either put all five down at once or you can add more later), and there’s no need to order them on preference. Universities/colleges won’t be able to see where else you’ve applied until after you respond to any offer you get.
As with choosing which university you want to go to, it’s really important to do plenty of research about what course you want to study. You might have a few different ideas, which is fine as you can put different course choices down on your application. However, it’s definitely a good idea to look into how each course is run at each university you apply to; for example, the modules or topics that one university offers on their Business Studies course might be very different to those offered by another.
The most important thing to remember when it comes to choosing a course (and university) is that it’s your choice. You’re highly likely to hear the thoughts and opinions of friends, family and even the media when you’re making your choices, but at the end of the day, it’s you who’ll be putting in the time and work and therefore it’s you who makes the final choice!
