Adult Learners’ Week – What Will You Do?

HEART was established to support collaborative approaches to support access to higher education from under represented groups and to work with Leeds City Region to support their work in relation to realising a high skill economy that is good for business, jobs, the regional economy and individuals.

To achieve this requires adults to engage in lifelong learning, upskilling and continuous development.  Once a year, a national Adult Learners’ Week takes place, this year from 18-24 May.  HEART are sponsoring an Adult Learner Award to be presented at a celebration event in Forster’s Bistro in Bradford whilst many of our partners are putting on special activities.  A summary list of the activities can be found by clicking HERE.

If you are a business seeking opportunities to engage with a college or university to support the development of higher level skills in your workforce we would be delighted to here from you and support making the right connections.  For a few reasons why you should invest in higher level skills see our leaflet by clicking here.
