Celebrity guest performer!

We are excited to announce that ‘Science bloke’ Marty Jopson from BBC’s The One Show will be performing at the festival.

Marty’s action-packed show will take you on a tour of household science. He will also address conundrums like:

  • What really makes cakes rise?
  • Why do soap bubbles burst?
  • How do you get the quartz out of a clock using a hammer?

This event is aimed at the whole family to take part and gain an insight into the exciting opportunities STEM subjects can offer you.
